What we do, and don’t do

Trek Prep Fitness prepares you physically and mentally for your trek, climb or outdoor course through training and education in the following areas:

  • Physical competence (Load carrying, endurance and trek specific training)
  • Mental skills and discipline
  • Trekking etiquette and field craft
  • Trekking hygiene and health
  • Altitude education and preparation
  • Travel safety

Trek Prep FitnessĀ is not focussed on muscle building or weight loss training. There is no doubt that these adaptations may occur as a result of your training however, this is not our focus. If during your training or after your trek you want to move into this style of fitness, we will gladly refer you to one of our highly professional contacts who can assist you towards these goals.
