Trek Prep Fitness Bio
Hi, I am Richard Gorey the owner and head trainer of Trek Prep Fitness. I developed TPF after helping many of friends achieve their trekking and climbing goals for the last 7 years. I have a long history of bush walking, trekking, climbing, canoe and kayak racing, scuba diving and much more. I love trying so many activities but trekking and climbing are my main passions.
I also have a long career in outdoor employment with 23 years as a Fire Fighter and Officer and 30 years of diving with the last 20 of those years with the Royal Australian Naval Reserve. Prior to all that, I served for 3 years in the Royal Australian Army Reserve in Infantry . Along the way and outside of these fields, I was travelling extensively and experiencing a wide range of outdoor skills that I can draw on to help you.
